Kangstem Biotech will present the results of its Phase 1 clinical trial for "OSCA," a fundamental treatment for knee osteoarthritis, at the 2025 International Society of Arthroscopy, Knee Surgery and Orthopaedic Sports Medicine (ISAKOS), which will be held in Munich, Germany from June 8 to 11(local time).

ISAKOS is the most prestigious international academic conference in the field of orthopedics, bringing together more than 3,000 experts from academia, industry, and research across over 100 countries. Held biennially, the conference serves as a global hub for the exchange of the latest treatment technologies and knowledge through poster presentations, workshops, surgical demonstrations, and more.

At the conference, Kangstem Biotech will present an e-poster detailing the results of its Phase 1 clinical trial and 12-month long-term follow-up study of OSCA in patients with moderate knee osteoarthritis (Kellgren & Lawrence grades 2 to 3). The poster will include data showing significant improvements in pain, joint function, and mobility at 6 and 12 months following a single injection of OSCA. Additionally, MRI evaluations demonstrate improvements such as reduced cartilage damage, decreased subchondral bone edema, and smoother joint surfaces.
