On the 17th, Pohang Mayor Kang-duk Lee visited Kangstem Biotech and met with Kyung-sun Kang, founder, and Jong-cheon Na, CEO. They discussed how to build a cooperative relationship between Korea's top companies in the field of organoids and Postech's bioprinting source technology to foster a bio-specialized complex.
Kangstem Biotech was established in 2010 to develop stem cell therapeutics for the treatment of rare and incurable diseases and was listed on the KOSDAQ in 2015.
Its core businesses include the development and production of cord blood-derived stem cell therapeutics, organoids, and pharmaceuticals, and it has recently commercialized a hair follicle organoid-based hair loss treatment.
